Wild Flowers Of Himalaya

"In this season , means in Spring , a lot of varieties of wild flowers can be seen in Himalayan region and in Hilly areas of Himalaya.."

 In Alpine shrubland there are mostly Rhododendrons and above this zone there are mostly herbaceous plants like Anaphalis, Morina,Potentila, Jentiana etc. and these all flowers appear during spring season and in the summers. In this season these zones get covered by flowers and also in himachal pradesh. plants like Saxifrega, Allium, Soroseris etc.

The Western Himalayan alpine shrub and meadows covers an area of 70,200 square kilometres (27,100 sq mi), extending from the Kali Gandaki Gorge in central Nepal westwards across Uttarakhand and eastern Himachal Pradesh states of India to the gorge of the Sutlej River. The alpine shrub and meadows lie between approximately 3,000 and 5,000 metres (9,800 and 16,400 ft) elevation.
 In Eastern Himalaya there montane grasslands and shrublands in the region of Bhutan, China,India,Myanmar and Nepal. The Eastern Himalaya shrub and meadows are in India's Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim, Bhutan , Tibet and Myanmar.
 Alpine shrubs are between 4000 to 5000 meters approximately. The Eastern HImalayan sub-alpine conifer zone is below 3000 meters from central Nepal to Bhutan. The Northeastern Himalayan Sub-alpine Conifer zone lie in south region of Arunchal Pradesh ranging from south to lower valley of Brahmaputra River.
 In Eastern Himalayan shrublands mainly it is characterized by rhododendron mainly and treeline of these types of plants. And above this alpine shrub land zones there are herbaceous plants like Alchemilla, Androsace, Anemone, Diapensia,Draba, Pimulla,Rhododendron,Saxifrega etc.
